History of Midwest Pipelines

Midwest was established in the 1974 near Regina, Saskatchewan where they first started doing facility work and migrated into pipeline construction. The company went through many changes through mergers with public companies over the first four decades while moving to the Edmonton area. Through the 90’s and into the millennium they established themselves as a mid to large diameter pipeline contractor in Western Canada. The company was absorbed through a sale in 2007 and rebranded.
In April 2012 the “Midwest“ name was resurrected by new owners and management. Since then they have become a “Leader in Pipeline Technology” and have continued to grow and prosper into one of the leading pipeline construction companies in the region.
The Executive and Operational Management team at Midwest Pipelines has over 160 years of combined experience in pipeline construction, project management, and pipeline integrity work and specialty fabrication. This experience has been achieved by working on various projects around the world.
